Can you be one of them?

Successful forex traders have certain attributes. Some of them of course are inborn characteristics and some others are developed and strengthened or acquired by a forex trader himself.

If you are not yet an experienced and successful forex trader, you should focus upon attributes that lead to trading success.

● First of all, take and treat trading as a real business, where win and loss come together. Be prepared to lose and be prepared to win. Treat your losses as an "investment" and your wins as a payment. Treat both of them with the same lack of emotion. Your lack of discipline and misemotions (anger, fear and greed) can ruin this relation which should be well on the payment side. You will accomplish this with your willingness and an every day bigger knowledge.

● Study to understand the market and test your trading methodology.

● It may sound strange but all successful forex traders have a low tolerance for risk. If you`ll ever take large risks you will regret.

● Trade only when the market provides an opportunity and do not overtrade because of the fear to miss a move.

● Be flexible. Only forex losers (and life losers, too) are stubborn and marry a certain idea. If you think it is time to change an idea on how to invest in forex or which strategy to use, do it. But always have a trading plan!

● You should also have a risk management plan according to your money budget. This way you will be properly capitalized. In fact, to be undercapitalized is again one strong point which leads to the termination of your forex adventure with empty pockets and with a depressed psychologic state of mind. In other words, you must have enough money to trade safely. Remember that not having enough money for the type of your investment is one of the principal out-points in forex trading.

● Make full use of the four and one hour charts. Without this there is no single strategy we can call it a good one.

● A very important, if not the most important point: if you don`t love to trade, don`t trade. If you don`t love studying, planning and all the forex atmosphere, you will never make lots of money on forex. Vice-versa, if you`ll make it your life style you are on the right way.
