Keep a change jar

I know this is probably not an original idea but it works. I keep a change jar in the closet. Whenever I find loose change lying around the house, I throw it in the jar.

It adds up. One month I saved $20!!!! I use it to help pay the bills at the end of the month. It's always nice to know I have a little rainy day fund in my closet.
