What are Forex trading times?

As an extremely dynamic market with prices that are changing every single second, the Forex market allows traders to enter the market many times a day and take some profit out of it.

Here you can see the forex market trading times:

London: 3:00 am to 12:00 noon EST (Eastern Standard Time - New York Time)
New York: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST
Sydney: 5:00 pm to 2:00 am EST
Tokyo: 7:00 pm to 4:00 am EST

However, there are certain time periods when the market activity and the volume of transactions are at the highest level. And, of course, these periods are the best for you to enter the market. You will find it more profitable. A calm forex market is a waste of precious time. You are clever if you turn your computer off!

New York / London: 8:00 am to 12:00 noon EST
Sydney / Tokyo: 7:00 pm to 2:00 am EST
London / Tokyo: 3:00 am to 4:00am EST

This tells you that trading GBP/USD or EUR/USD for instance will give the best results between 8.00 am and 12.00 noon EST when both markets for these currencies are open. This is the time that gives you more possibilities to win.
