Discover the secret of wealth today. It took me almost 27 years of my life to learn what it really is to be wealthy. I would consider myself lucky as many do not discover the secret of wealth until they are much older, other never do.

The first thing to touch upon is what really is wealth? While listening to the advice in Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki he pointed out something very important to me. Wealth is not measured by the number of things you own, but rather, wealth is your ability to live without your day job. In other words, how long could you live off of your assets (the things you own that make money for you).

For Example:

A person needing $2000/month to live would require that there assets cover their living expenses. Only then will they be wealthy. If he earned $1000/month from his assets, then he would be able to live for a half a month on his assets.

It completely blew my mind away. You can discover the secret of wealth by accumulating assets and not liabilites. That's what wealthy people do. The accumulate assets such as:

Real Estate (not one family homes unless they earn your money every month)

Stocks

Businesses

Wesbites

and much, much more. The wealthy do not try an accumulate a "savings" account like most middle and lower class citizens. Why earn $2 in interest on a couple thousand dollars when you can invest in something that earns you $50/month?

That's why I like my websites so much. For $30 month, I earn much more on that $30 than I could ever make in a bank.

Discover the secret of wealth by investing in something you enjoy doing. I love building websites, and although I could probably make money much quicker through real estate, I do not enjoy searching for houses and dealing with the other legal aspects of real estate. If you do not enjoy it, you will not take care of your business.

I really encourage every to read Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. He offers so much insite into the secrets behind building wealth whether you are rich, poor or middle class. He will explain to you the difference between what the lower and middle class see as assets and why these are really liabilities (things that cost you money every month).

If you are a busy person like me and do not have a lot of extra time to read, then I recommend you take a listen to the book on audio tape. I listened to it on my way to and from work and then I listened to to it again.
