A free website domain will give you something like www.geocities.com/yourdomainname.com. This looks unprofessional, especially if you are trying to create a realiable source. Web hosting is a very important part of building your website. You want a reliable host that provides you with lots of space to upload pictures, video, and other files. Most web hosts will let you sign up monthly or offer your a really cheap rate for signing up for a full year.

Website Software and Editors

Now depending on your level of experience you may want to go with a website software like Dreamweaver that helps you crate a website without HTML or an HTML editor. You could even hire someone to create a template specific for your website. I really enjoy using this site as it saves me a lot of time.
