Adsense Tracker for Channels

Using the Adsense Tracker Channels will considerably increase AdSense income. A channel gives you insight into the performance of your ads and can help you make changes for the best adsense optimization.

How the Adsense Tracker Works

Namely, channels give you the insight into the performance on your web pages.

With their use, you can compare performance of a left versus right position, top versus bottom, leaderboard ad versus rectangle or a skyscraper ad, etc. You can also get results for each individual page, and for each website you have.

You do need to be spend some time on organizaing, but all this is well worth your effort.

You can do it without altering the ad AdSense code by creating URL channels and then track the performance of each individual page.Or you can do it by setting up Custom channels that are included in the AdSense ad code. This will then track how ad location or ad format influences your Click Through Rate (CTR) and with this help you can increase AdSense income.

By doing both, you can compare the results by either ad style or pages.

You set up a URL channel in the "AdSense Setup" tab, where you click on "Channels":

In the window that will open select the AdSense product which you want to set up and then click on "URL channels". Let`s say that our product in this case is "AdSense for Content". Then click on "Add new URL channels". Now it`s time to copy and paste the URLs you would like to track in the text-box:

After you click on "Add channels" button a new window will open and you will be now able to track the performance of these pages.

Set up a custom channel for your home page (URL channel is not doing a good job with home pages).

Click on "Custom channels" and then on "Add new custom channels":

A new window will open. Here enter a name. It will help you to identify the channel when you will need it later. Use some logic in naming channels otherwise everything WILL get out of control; there will be simply too much combinations. You can use (in the name) ad position and/or ad format. Then click on "Add channel":

Now you can track a page with your Custom channel. You can do it either by editing an existing ad under "Manage Ads", or creating a new ad code:

After your click on "Edit Ad Settings" (2.arrow in the image above) a new window will show up. Scroll down till you get to the "All channels" section where you`ll find your new channel. Click on the "Add" button to select it. Then click on the "Save settings" button:

After all this, when you log in to look at the reports, you will find this:

And here you will be able to see which site, page or even spot on a page, or format gives you the highest CTR and the most money, of course. I hope you will be seeing an increase in your AdSense income while using the Adsense Tracker. It really helped me with my website.
