AdSense rules

To know all the AdSense rules, the best way is to read the Google AdSense Program Policies. In addition we outline some of the things you need to keep in mind before approching Google for Adsense. You may call them AdSense rules too, because they determine the successfulness of your approval and acceptance into the program.

● Remember that Google Adsense is there primarily for content-based sites. So, a decent website with at least 15 pages of a good quality content will be OK. Websites that focus on pure product sales may not be proper for Adsense.

● Some blogs or forums will not be accepted. But, in the case of an honest and useful information-rich blog or forum, they are not only accepted, but may work really well with Google Adsense.

● Chat Sites are not suitable for Adsense and thay may not even allow these kind of small talk sites.

Now, once you are accepted, keep in mind that Google can also throws you out. And it is very difficult and frustrating to reapply to the program, once you are rejected. To avoid this, apply these AdSense rules:

● Do not create more than one Adsense account. You can have more than one site for a single Adsense account.

● Do not participate in 'click groups' that click each others ads.

● Do not click your own ads.

● Do not use automated bots to increase clicks on your site.

● Do not encourage users to click your ads in any way.

● Do not put ads on error pages, pages with no content, pop-up, pop-under, registration or similar pages.

● Do not display more than the maximum number of ads on a page. Check the most up to date rules to be sure you are not breaking them.

● Do not buy banned sites, typically MFA sites* from others.

*MFA sites (made for AdSense) are sites which litter their whole website with lotsa Adsense ads & other ads with very little content or sometimes none at all and then create Adwords campaign such that they can appear on the 1st few pages of Google's search results pages.

● Do not overlap ads with content that users cannot distinguish between.

● Do not modify or edit the Adsense code. However, this does not include changing properties.

Remember that Google became the biggest advertising business on the internet also by being strict and banning people who break the rules.
