Use high paying keywords.

You know from our Google Adsense Introduction that you need to have a niche specific website with pages that are focused on certain keywords. Using Google's keyword tools, you can search for keywords that advertisers are paying more for.

Using Google's keyword estimator, I input some simple keywords below:

As you can see certain keywords have a greater Cost Per Click (CPC) than others. So pages focused on the keywords home business would make more money than pages focues on the keyword abdominals.

Great so all you have to do for Adsense optimization is write a few pages about home business and you are going to be rich, right?

Wrong.

The keywords home business if going to be a very hard keyword to win in the search engines because there is a lot of competition for that keyword. Remember, you need traffic to come to your website in order for people to click on your ads. So what now?

You need to choose keywords that have a lot of demand and a low supply. There are many programs that allow you to brainstorm supply and demands of keywords. One is included in the SBI Web Package offerred through this site.

So now you have high demand low supply keywords but they don't pay as much as some of those broader keywords. This is where Adsense optimization comes in. Your content page should focus on its main keyqord, but you should try and throw in a couple of the more expensive keywords close to where you are placing you Google ads.

Why?

Remember, Google optimizes the ads on your site to fit the content of you page. So google looks for keywords in your content and then list relevent ads. So if it sees some of those higher paying keywords in your content, it will start listing higher paying advertisements.
