About Lauren Bateman

Hi my name is Lauren Bateman, I'm 26 years old and the owner of Financial Freedom Informant. I purchased the site in Sept. 2009 to start running a website on something I had a passion for - finance and saving. Would you be shocked if I said I was on track to retiring at the age of 30?

I know what you are saying: "That's absolutely impossible." Well I am here to tell you that anything is possible if you put your mind to it.

At the ripe old age of 24 I decided that working a 40 hour a week job with almost 10 hours of commuting was not my idea of a "dream job". I was determined to save as much money as possible and build on financial investments so I could live my life of freedom in my youth.

You see I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma when I was 16, and I realized at a very young age that life is priceless. It has so many opportunities if we choose to take them. I found I could not do all the things I wanted to do working behind a desk or in a lab all day. I am in the process of recording my first album and focusing on my music is definitely a challenge.

Enter Site Build It. I started assessing my situation, creating budgets, balancing my 401k, and investing in index funds. I realized, working as hard as I was, that retiring at 30 would never be acheivable if I did not have some form of income. Browsing the early retirement and financial forums I came across a program called Site Build It (SBI).

I learned that I could make money from a legitimate home business through website construction. One problem, I did not know HTML. No problem.

SBI made it easy and I built my first website Extreme Fitness Now based on my first passion, fitness. In about a year, I was seeing profit on my website making $100-$200/month in income. My website worked for me even when I wasn't working on it. I was making easy money in my sleep.

Seeing the success of my first site, I decided a second website would be great, so I purchased Financial Freedom Informant and it has already doubled my online business income. As you can see, anyone can reach financial freedom as long as they have a plan.
